Coding for Arovax SmartHide v. 2.2

Thursday. 7.00 A.M. Everyone is in the office. The water is boiling and everyone wants coffee. Sounds of keyboard typing are everywhere. What is going on? The world is gone crazy?

No. It’s just SmartHide Team preparing a new version of Arovax SmartHide software: version 2.2 ;)

It’s not announced yet, but hey, it’s a behind-the-scenes blog, isn’t it? ;) So, the work is in progress and v. 2.2 is in the final stage of development and is coming out really soon, approximately in the first half of April.

This update is really minor, nothing special. The major work is done on the battlefield of SmartHide v.3.x, but it’s a different story.

So, what’s new is planned for SmartHide v.2.2? Some of the updates are listed below:

  • Vista 64-bit compatibility;
  • Improved User Interface usability;
  • “Visibility List” feature.

Few words about Visibility List. Basically, it allows you to manage a list of websites, which you want to visit directly when you are in the SmartHide “Invisible” mode. For example if you want to check the weather for your region on some website that detects your place by IP, you do not have to turn off SmartHide to visit the website directly, all you have to do is add the actual URL you need to the “Visibility List”.

Going back to work my friends. Over’n Out.
